Payments
When you pay, which methods you can use and what happens if you need to change or cancel your booking.
In short
- When booking with a consultant, a 30% deposit will normally secure your place.
- Online, you can reserve your place with €250 or £250, which is then deducted from the 30% deposit.
- The balance is generally due four weeks before departure.
- You can pay by bank transfer or card through Flywire, including in a currency different from the programme currency.
- The schedule and conditions in your quote or portal always take precedence over the general information on this page.
Deposit, balance and due dates
Booking with a consultant
You will normally pay 30% to secure the place. The exact amount and due date are shown in your quote.
Online booking
You pay €250 or £250 to reserve the place. To confirm the booking, you then pay the rest of the 30% deposit, with the €250 or £250 deducted. The next steps appear in your portal.
Balance
It is generally due four weeks before departure. If you book later, full payment may be required.
Long programmes, school groups, group bookings and tailored quotes may use a different schedule. Instalments can be considered case by case, so ask before confirming.
Any enrolment or supplier costs form part of the total shown in your quote. They are not added later as a separate agency fee.
How you can pay
You can pay by:
- bank transfer;
- debit or credit card through Flywire.
Flywire supports payments in many currencies. If you choose a currency different from the one in which the programme is sold, Flywire converts it using the rate available that day. Before confirming, you will see the amount, exchange rate and any charges for your chosen method.
A receipt is generated automatically. We do not currently accept PayPal.
Start payment from your quote or portal. If you receive different bank details, contact us using the number or email published on our website before paying.
Changing dates, programme or traveller
Tell us as soon as you know something needs to change. We will check availability and terms with the school and any other suppliers involved.
Before proceeding, we will explain:
- whether the change is possible;
- any difference in price;
- any supplier charges;
- new due dates or conditions.
Replacing the traveller can often be considered, but it is not automatic. It depends on the programme, documents already issued and services booked. Changing school after enrolment on a school-year programme may be particularly difficult.
No change is confirmed until you receive it in writing.
If you need to cancel your booking
Send your cancellation request in writing. The date on which we receive it may affect the amount due or recoverable.
Once the booking is confirmed, the deposit is non-refundable. Further cancellation costs depend on timing, the programme and the terms applied by the school and other suppliers. The definitive rules are those supplied with your quote and confirmation.
Groups, schools and tailored bookings may have specific conditions set out in their quote.
Check your policy and contact the insurer. The insurer will assess reimbursement based on the reason, evidence and exclusions; cover does not change the booking terms.
A traceable payment from start to finish
Your quote, portal and confirmation show the programme purchased, total price, payments received and upcoming due dates. Card payments are handled through Flywire; bank-transfer instructions are connected to your booking.
- Do not pay through a link from a sender you do not recognise.
- Do not accept changed bank details without checking them with EduLeap.
- Keep your receipt and confirmation in your portal.
Where to find your payment documents
You receive an automatic confirmation after payment. Invoices and payment status are available in the portal once issued.
If an adult manages a booking for several students, the main account shows payments and details for the whole family booking. Each student also has an individual login for their own trip details.
If the receipt does not appear or the billing details need correcting, email hello@eduleap.world. Emails normally receive a reply within around 24 hours.
